I sent your email to me to the Yahoo Deuce site. There are seveal of the older guys on that site and so some one may know your father or the others you mentioned.

My Father died 6-4-93 of a heart attack at the home he built and retired in Louisianna after 23 years in the Army. He retired as a LTC in 1970 and had joined the Army in 1947. He had many tours of duty and I believe that he was a Maj or Captain in Vietnam with the 162ahc in the years 1965 - 1966 (or 67). He was always a Helicopter pilot and had seen fighting earlier in his career in Vietnam and Korea.
I was hoping to find some of you that had worked with my father to get more insight of what he and the other great Americans such as he and yourself went through. I throughly enjoyed viewing all of the pictures and it reminded me of all of the pictures and stories he had told me. He was great friends with an Alfred (Al) Jarden who I beleive also may have been in the 162ahc but perhaps not. I would be interested to know if you or any members have any memories you wanted to share related to those years and if you had worked with my father.
On the previous website 162ahc.com I met a Larry Combs who told me a few stories but I did not see him listed on this site. I am not sure if he is still around.
Feel free to let me know as a friend and family relative of the 162ahc if there is anything I can do to help you with your site, scanning images, software or similar.
