Pushing ahead with the site

Due to some recent and fortunate circumstances the bottom line for this site is it will continue and will remain a free site to our Deuce brothers, our families and our brothers in arms wanting to roost here. Others who wish to visit will be allowed to do so for a short time  after we run a check on them to verify they are legit.

No further monetary contributions need to be made in order to maintain this site at this time and for the foreseeable future. Many thanks for past contributions as it helped more than you know.

Any one wanting to make a contribution can do so by posting their story, stories from other vets, pictures or relative info or items of interest. The one thing most important to me and to the history of our unit from my perspective would be to get the word out to any of our brother in arms you may know or contact.

Thanks to everyone who has made it possible to get to the present state.

  • Good news Walt, congratulations on the breakthrough. Just as an update my wife and I are in Kathmandu doing post earthquake response work with Medair. I'm hoping to visit our program sites courtesy of MAF on one of their leased choppers or even a Russian Mi 26 chopper operated by UN. Take care!
  • I have a vulture patch , the size that goes perhaps on the back of a jacket (pretty big)

    It is quality stuff.

If you like it can be auctioned off here and the money can go to your site here Walt.

  • Hi Bear:

Stopping by to say hello to my brother's other brothers.  Gerry (aka Bull) would have been 68 yesterday. There is not a day go by that I don't think about him.  We were 'Irish Twins' in that he was still in diapers when I was born. We were the best of friends and fiercely competitive at the same time. I will always love  him.

Happy to know you'll be able to continue this site.  Keep up the good work.  I wish you good health and 100 more years on this planet.

    Mike O'Connor
